Grafana Foundations

NOTE: THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, PROVIDED AS A SAMPLE OUTLINE BUILDER ONLY. WE HAVE YET TO FINALIZE THE COURSE COMPONENTS.

Course Description

In today’s digital age, systems have become increasingly complex, distributed, and interconnected. As a result, it has become more challenging to monitor and troubleshoot issues in these systems. Observability provides a solution to this problem by enabling organizations to collect and analyze data from various sources, including logs, metrics, and traces, and gain insights into system behavior and performance.

Grafana is a popular tool for observability because it provides a comprehensive platform for visualizing, analyzing, and alerting on data from various sources. With Grafana, organizations can create interactive dashboards and alerts to monitor key metrics, visualize trends, and quickly identify and diagnose issues. One of the key benefits of Grafana is its ability to integrate with a wide range of data sources, including popular monitoring systems such as Prometheus, InfluxDB, and Graphite. This makes it easy to collect and analyze data from various sources and gain a comprehensive view of system behavior and performance.

This hands-on, lab-based, Instructor-led course teaches your teams exactly how to implement Grafana and how to understand the information provided by Grafana.
